When a fire breaks out in the movie theater, Max and her friends find themselves transported into the movie, where they encounter a hilarious number of horror film clichés.
Totally Killer (2023)
Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) manages to travel in time back to 1987, in an attempt to hunt down the Sweet 16 Killer, before they can murder her mom. In the earlier timeline, Shipka works alongside her mom’s younger self to put an end to the murderer’s plans. But she’s not got long, and if she doesn’t escape the timeline promptly, she’ll be stuck there forever.

My Best Friend’s Exorcism (2022)
Based on the book of the same name by Grady Hendrix, My Best Friend’s Exorcism is set in 1988, and follows besties Abby and Gretchen as they navigate high school. However, when Gretchen is overcome by a Satanic force, Abby must cure her best friend of evil before it’s too late with the help of an exorcist she finds at the mall.
Death Becomes Her (1992)
After seven years in a psychiatric hospital, Helen (Goldie Hawn) plots her revenge on her ex best friend Madeline (Meryl Streep), who stole her fiancé, plastic surgeon Ernest (Bruce Willis). Discovering that Helen now looks mysteriously youthful and beautiful, Madeline is drawn into an unending competition that quickly turns (hilariously) violent.
Trick ’r Treat (2007)
Anna Paquin and Brian Cox star in horror anthology film Trick ’r Treat, which explores the many traditions associated with Halloween. Whenever an individual breaks a Halloween tradition, a trick-or-treating demon named Sam appears. The cutie has become somewhat of an icon, thanks to his appearance, which consists of orange pajamas and a burlap sack over his head.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
Based on Richard O’Brien’s musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic, which blends elements of horror, sci-fi, B-movies, and comedy to utter perfection. When young couple Brad and Janet break down, they seek help at the home of Dr. Frank N. Furter. He introduces them to his latest scientific creation, and they wrestle with their own desires in the process.
The Babysitter (2017)
Cole, a 12-year-old boy, gets relentlessly bullied. Luckily, his babysitter Bee (Samara Weaving) continually sticks up from him. One night, Cole decides to sneak down and spy on Bee and her friends, only to stumble upon them committing a Satanic ritual. Trying to signal for help, Cole finds himself confronted by Bee and her friends, who are far scarier than he ever could have imagined.

Gomez Addams (Raul Julia) is delighted when his long lost brother Fester (Christopher Lloyd) returns. Suspicions are raised by Morticia (Anjelica Huston), who believes the man to be an imposter. When the family is evicted from their home, they must fight to regain what is rightfully theirs, and discover the truth about the person claiming to be Fester.

Haunted Mansion (2023)
Based on the beloved Disney ride, Haunted Mansion follows a mother and son as they move into Gracey Manor. A group of people tasked with helping the pair start being haunted by a collection of ghosts and ghouls residing in the mansion. By working together, they must find a way to extinguish the residence of all its hauntings. The film’s all-star cast includes LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016)
Jane Austen’s classic novel is served with a twist in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. While Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) and her sisters are meant to be searching for husbands, 19th Century England is hit by a zombie apocalypse. Luckily, Elizabeth is a martial arts expert, and Mr. Darcy is a dedicated zombie hunter. But can romance defy class, as our favorite characters contend with an extremely dangerous situation?

The Blackening follows a group of Black friends whose Juneteenth weekend getaway takes a sinister turn. In a cabin in the woods, the group stumbles across a racist board game, and subsequently finds themselves being hunted by a masked murderer. It’s a searing satire on the tokenism often found in slasher films.

A hurricane traps a group of twenty-somethings inside a mansion, where they entertain themselves by playing a party game. But when people start dying, everyone becomes a suspect. Fear and suspicion ensue as the party quickly turns fatal. Starring Rachel Sennott, Amandla Stenberg, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Maria Bakalova, Lee Pace, and Pete Davidson.
Freaky (2020)
The Butcher (Vince Vaughn) is on the loose with a cursed dagger. When he attacks high school student Millie (Kathryn Newton), the blade causes them to switch places, in a hilarious, horror-infused version of Freaky Friday. Can Millie get her body back before time runs out?

Little Shop of Horrors (1986)
An unusual talking plant named Audrey II appears during a total eclipse, and instantly befriends shop assistant Seymour. It soon transpires that Audrey II wants blood and wants it now. This ’86 film is the perfect adaptation of a classic musical, with hilarious performances from Steve Martin and Rick Moranis.
Hocus Pocus (1993)
A group of kids explore an abandoned house and accidentally let a coven of witches free. In a race against time, the kids must work to stop the witches from achieving immortality, resulting in some serious shenanigans. Starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.
Happy Death Day (2017)
Tree is living the same day over and over again in her own deathly version of Groundhog Day. She’s also being hunted by the Babyface Killer, whose mask is as funny as it is terrifying. Before time runs out, Tree has to figure out who’s responsible for her death. Can she break the cycle?
