Instagram official couple Adele and Rich Paul attended SoFi Stadium on Thursday night and sat holding hands in a luxury suite next to friends Jay-Z and Maverick Carter, LeBron James’ close friend and business partner. They went to Inglewood, California, to watch the Kansas City Chiefs-L.A. Chargers game, but ESPN cameras were on Adele and Paul as they snuggled up.
And then James called the whole group out on his Twitter account, jokingly asking, “Who the heck are Jay-Z and Adele’s +1s????”

As a powerful sports agent, Paul is well-known to James and even recently had a collaboration with with New Balance, making a pair of 550s with his literal name on it, which Adele wore for her Instagram stories.
Paul and Adele first sparked rumors that they were dating at another sporting event, attending the NBA Finals game together in Phoenix in July. They’ve gradually become more serious. In August, a source told E! that their romance was a “bit of a whirlwind,” but she’s “very happy and loves being with him.”
“She’s not as concerned about being private with her life because she’s very happy with Rich,” the source continued. “[She is] enjoying learning about the sports world and meeting many of Rich’s friends. She’s going with it and is very happy.”
In an interview with Vogue in October, Adele explained they’d been friends before they started dating.
“He was always there, I just didn’t see him,” she said, explaining they met at a party several years ago. “I was a bit drunk. I said, ‘Do you want to sign me? I’m an athlete now.’ He’s just so fucking funny. He was dancing. All the other guys were just sitting around. He was just dancing away.”
Adele added that in her relationship with Paul, everything feels right.
“I don’t feel anxious or nervous or frazzled,” she said. “It’s quite the opposite. It’s wild.”
