In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on Friday, Sophie Turner shared an emotional moment she had soon after meeting her now-husband, pop star Joe Jonas. Fallon asked Turner when she knew she’d marry Jonas, and she replied, “I mean the first night I met him.”
Fallon wanted to know if that was on a first date at her place and she explained, “He didn’t come over, no, I’m not that forward. We went out and we hung out at a bar with, like, all my friends, and all his friends, and then they all came back to my apartment and we had drinks after.”
After Jonas left, Turner says she cried to her brother about already being in love with him.

“I remember he left my apartment, and it may have been the alcohol, but I just wept to my brother. I was like, ‘I love this man so much,’” she said. “And I knew. And that was it.”
The 26-year-old actress looked stunning during her appearance on The Tonight Show, wearing a textured bright blue dress that clung to her figure, showing off her baby bump, and featuring long sleeves and a mock turtle neck. Under the long form-fitting skirt peeked a pair of Paris Texas heels made from PVC and covered in sparkling crystals, with blue soles to match her gown. She let her dark red hair flow over her shoulders.

The couple married in May 2019 in Las Vegas, then celebrated with a second ceremony in France the following month. They are currently expecting their second child. Turner recalled to Fallon how she teased Jonas the first night they met because he claimed people compare him to a “young George Clooney.”
“So on this first date, he was like, ‘Oh, do you ever get told you look like, you know, a young celebrity?’” she remembered. “And I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, sometimes. But why do you ask?’ And he was like, “Well, I get… I get young George Clooney all the time.’”
She added, ”I was like, ‘No, you don’t.’ And then I told him, ‘Well, I get young Boy George all the time.’”
And that was love at first sight.
