On Friday, October 22, Skims founder Kim Kardashian spent her birthday with her kids, attending a basketball game for her nine-year-old daughter North with her oldest son, six-year-old Saint. She wore a black jumpsuit with a Balenciaga bag and black flip flops, and left her long blonde hair down.
She later enjoyed a quiet family bash, TMZ reports, having a few friends and family to her office space in Calabasas, including Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, and Kendall Jenner.
Kim did see her ex-husband, Kanye West, at their kid’s game, but they are reportedly not speaking to one another in the midst of West’s public anti-semitic statements. They sat separately in the stands and did not interact. Kim filed for divorce in February of 2021, and the pair seemed to have a functional co-parenting relationship for a while. Then the beauty mogul began dating comedian Pete Davidson and West started his online attacks of his ex-wife and the former Saturday Night Live star. She and West share four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, who are four and three, respectively.
Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian posted a loving tribute to her on Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday Keeks! My brave, remarkably resilient sister, happy birthday! Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving we simply become more resilient and, in my opinion, you are the poster child of resilience… So thank you for birthdays because you have gotten stronger, wiser, braver, more vocal with your beliefs. You have managed to become kinder and gentler the more years that have gone by. I thought people got grumpier the older that they became, but you have become a more self-aware, loving and patient person.”
She went on, “The busier you become, the more you give to the ones you love. You give your absolute all in every area of your life. Whatever you set your mind to, you accomplish and you do so to the highest degree whether it’s being a mom, sister, daughter, best friend, aunt, entrepreneur, lawyer, (I can go on and on)… Somehow every single thing you do in your life, you do To the maximum level and you won’t settle for anything less. Your drive for life inspires me daily.”
