Jennifer Lopez showed once again that she has no qualms baring it all for a good cause. The 53-year-old singer shared a photo of herself posing topless in just a pair of white thong undies on J.Lo Beauty’s Instagram to mark the start of National Stress Awareness month.
Lopez’s team wrote, “It’s #NationalStressAwarenessMonth and we want to remind you how important it is to take time for self-care. Dedicated time for you each + every day helps with your mental health and overall well-being. For @JLo, this looks like — Daily skincare routine, exercising, spending time with loved ones, feeding the body fuel, [and] being creative.”
Lopez previously posed nude to promote her Revolve x JLo Jennifer Lopez shoe collection last month. (She used the shoes to tastefully cover herself.)
And of course, for her JLo Body line, she shared a video featuring photos of her posing in her birthday suit for her big day last year.
Lopez has been open with her beauty and mental wellness tips. She told ELLE.com in December 2020 that she has a daily mantra to help keep her mind a positive place. “Every day, I say I am youthful and timeless at every age,” she said. “I live a beautiful adventurous life with my children, and we’re all in perfect health, always. All of these great things you learn to say to yourself so there’s this positive self-talk in your head really does create a beautiful person on the inside who maintains a beautiful person on the outside.”
In regard to skin care, Lopez revealed she hasn’t done Botox, but she swears by sunscreen. Lopez’s dermatologist advised her to use it during her 20s, she recalled: “Basically, my dermatologist gave me a great cleanser and some sunscreen and said, ‘If you do this from now on, your skin is healthy, you’re young right now, it’s going to be great.’ And he’s like, ‘But the sunscreen is the thing.’”
She added: “One of the big things I would encourage everybody to do from the time they’re 15 years old, even younger, is wear sunscreen every day. We developed a sunscreen you can wear every single day as your day moisturizer, and that is going to protect you more than anything. That’s a big skin care secret that people kind of do but don’t do. They use moisturizers, but they don’t put on sunscreen every day. That is something I have done from that time I was 22 years old.”
