Jennifer Lopez showed how a modern Holly Golightly might dress for a New York City film premiere, channeling Audrey Hepburn’s famous Breakfast at Tiffany‘s character’s black dress and diamonds ensemble last night to promote her new movie, The Mother. Lopez had a statement diamond necklace and bracelet on with her black Versace dress and wore her hair down on a center part with waves. She posed in front of the Paris theater in Manhattan in the look.

Lopez has spent the week in New York City, attending the Met Gala on Monday.

Lopez spoke during her May 3 Today Show interview about her children, 15-year-old twins Emme and Max, and how her husband Ben Affleck is as a parent to them.

“They’re becoming adults,” Lopez said of Emme and Max, via E!. “They are challenging everything in life. They’re looking at everything. And these kids have so much information, so much more than we had. They’re thinking and talking about things and about life in a different way than I did when I was 15 or 16 years old.”

“I think they’re gonna change the world, and make it so much better, so much better than what we did,” she added.

Emme and Max adore Affleck as their stepdad, Lopez revealed: “They love Ben. He’s a wonderful, wonderful father and father figure to them, as well. He has his own three beautiful children, and then there’s us. He’s fantastic, he really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means. They love him. They appreciate him, and so do I.”
