On Thursday, October 26, Taylor Swift stepped out for the night in Manhattan with her married friends, Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley. For the cool evening, Swift wore a sexy layered fall look, starting with a russet corduroy miniskirt. She paired it with a low cut black top, a red-brown leather jacket that almost brushed the hem of her skirt, and dark red leather ankle boots with a short heel.
She had on two small chain necklaces and mismatched earrings and wore her hair up, with her bangs swept to one side. Swift went with a touch of dark eyeliner and a bright red lip.
Antonoff and Qualley were married in August and Swift attended the New Jersey ceremony. Fans swarmed the event and police had to come and disperse the crowd. She and the music producer have been friends and frequent collaborators since they met in 2012. In a profile of Antonoff in 2017, Swift told the New York Times, “Sometimes he sits at the piano and we both just start ad-libbing and the song seems to create itself…His excitement and exuberance about writing songs is contagious. He’s an absolute joy. That’s why everyone loves him. I personally wouldn’t trust someone who didn’t.”
He has been equally warm in his praise of her, telling NME in 2021, “I’ve seen her change the music industry first-hand…She’s amazing for being a champion, and making things better for the generations to come. She has a long history of rightly exposing some real darkness in the music industry. And I’m personally thankful for it, outside of our friendship and working relationship, just as an artist.”
Swift attended the wedding alone, but a month later she was dating NFL star Travis Kelce. She made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs’ game at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, and has since flown back and forth to Missouri for more games and to spend time with Kelce. He has also visited her in New York, and they attended the filming of Saturday Night Live‘s October 14 episode, even making cameos on the show before heading to the after party hand-in-hand.
