On Thursday, Miley Cyrus was the co-host for Gucci’s celebration of summer event at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. The party was centered around the venue’s famous garden and Gucci’s new Flora Gorgeous Orchid eau de parfum. Cyrus is the face of their new campaign.
The star performed her hit “Flowers” for the crowd wearing a black minidress with a wrapped bodice, skort bottom, and a cutout in the back. It had long sleeves and a plunging neckline that revealed her black lace bralette underneath from Gucci’s Cruise 2025 collection.
Around her neck, she wore an oversized gold chain link necklace and she had on a diamond bracelet. She had her hair slicked back in a wet style and wore a pair of black Gucci sunglasses during her performance. On her feet were a pair of black strappy sandal heels.
The Flora campaign is headed by creative director Sabato De Sarno, and Cyrus has worked with the fashion house since 2021, beginning with the Flora Gorgeous Gardenia eau de parfum campaign directed by Petra Collins. In the photo campaign for the new Orchid scent, Cyrus posed next to the iconic Hollywood sign in photographs taken by Tyler Mitchell.
The look of the campaign was inspired by “the empowering joy of connecting with one’s own creativity in a natural environment,” according to the caption on Cyrus and Gucci’s shared Instagram post.
“A dreamy escape,” the release continued. “Blurring the lines between reality and imagination, Miley Cyrus stars in the latest campaign by Sabato De Sarno for the new Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum telling a story of empowerment and self-love, one that embodies the radiant and unexpected facets of the new fragrance.”
Other celebrities at the event included Kendall Jenner, Salma Hayek, Carlos Nazario, Cleo Wade, Chloe Kim, Law Roach, Maude Apatow, Kelly Sawyer, Kim Petras, and David LaChapelle.
