On Saturday, Nick Jonas celebrated many years of love with wife Priyanka Chopra. The couple share a number of anniversaries, but in this instance Jonas shared a never-before-seen picture from the night he proposed.
In the photo, he is smiling at the camera and holding up his blushing bride’s hand to show the ring as she hides her face. The room is somewhat dark, but he is all in black and she’s wearing a white ensemble. In the caption, Jonas wrote, “I asked the most amazing woman in the world to marry me 6 years ago today. Thank you for saying yes @priyankachopra.”
She shared the photo in her Instagram Stories and wrote over it, “Cannot believe it’s been 6 years since this day.”
Their proposal anniversary appears to be July 19. The couple were married in 2018 in December, celebrating with both a Christian and a Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. They also hosted two receptions in Delhi and Mumbai. They welcomed their daughter Malti Marie in 2022 via surrogacy.
This isn’t even the first time that Jonas has honored Chopra this week either. On Thursday, July 18, he honored her on her 42nd birthday by sharing a carousel of photos with Chopra looking stunning.
“The woman that you are. How lucky am I. Happy birthday my love,” he wrote in the caption.
The photos show them enjoying the beach together, Chopra looking gorgeous by the pool and in another photo wearing an olive green two-piece.
She shared a carousel of photos for her own birthday as well, expressing that she was on set for her celebration. Chopra thanked Jonas for sending a dosa truck for her and the cast and crew on the day.
“Thank you to everyone from around the world that texted, called and messaged. Thank you for thinking of me,” she wrote. “I slept like a baby after that loong day. Best birthday gift.”
