Earlier this week, Kendall Jenner and Tory Burch released an Instagram Reel together, featuring the model as the new face of the brand’s fragrance, Sublime. The campaign video showcased Jenner in a few dazzling looks, most notably a nude lingerie set beneath a gold net dress, and a red bikini set. Behind-the-scenes footage of Jenner’s shoot depicted her posing with an oversized version of the Sublime fragrance bottle.
ELLE.com beauty writer Carol Lee called Sublime’s scent profile “fresh and inviting yet subtly sexy, with mandarin, vetiver, and florals, like rose and osmanthus flower.” In an interview with ELLE.com, Jenner agreed, saying, “To me, confidence is when I feel most myself, when I am my goofiest, weirdest, just fully unfiltered self, and that is what Sublime is about.”
The Sublime campaign featuring Jenner was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and includes original music by Bakar, who recorded a cover of Edwyn Collins’ “A Girl Like You.”
Describing why she chose Jenner as the face of the Sublime campaign, Burch told ELLE.com, “She has a quiet power, which I find interesting. She’s fearless. She’s an entrepreneur [with] great family values and a work ethic.”
The designer said that she wears Sublime herself, and explained her process for picking perfumes generally. “It’s pretty last minute, and just as I’m walking out the door,” Burch said. “But I do like wearing a fragrance. It’s a ritual for me.”
