If you’ve been eagerly waiting for a new season of the hit sci-fi Apple TV+ series, Silo, you’re in luck. The captivating adaptation of Hugh Howey’s book series is finally back.
For those unfamiliar, Silo takes place in underground silos that house and protect the last remaining humans on the planet. Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who attempts to seek out answers, including why the silos were really built. Her co-stars Common and Tim Robbins are also back this season, along with new addition Steve Zahn.
Speaking with Variety, Ferguson reflected on the show’s ongoing mystery, saying, “And that’s what is so great about these stories, it just doesn’t end. And when you think you got the story, it’s like cricket, you just haven’t. It just evaporates. Did that make sense? Like cricket, like the game, it makes no sense.”
Common also praised the new season, specifically the arc of his character Robert Sims, who works in security for the silos. This season, he’s grappling with “being a part of the people who established society and [are] perpetuating the lies, or maybe some of it is the truth. It’s funny for me to play this character, but I love it.”
If the second season is anything like the first, it’s sure to keep us on our toes. Read on to find out when and where all the episodes of Silo will be released.
