On Tuesday, Rihanna shared a new Instagram post to promote her newest red shade lip liner and matte lip color from Fenty Beauty. In the carousel of pics and videos, the ANTI singer is wearing a black knit dress with see-through sections along her torso and legs, revealing the cream-colored bra underneath. The star had her hair teased up in a high pile of black curls.
She demonstrated how to apply the rich crimson color, flashing her silver and diamond statement rings and bangles. The close up shots displayed her flawless complexion and brown eyeshadow. The color set is called “MVP,” available for their Trac’d Out Pencil Lip Liner and Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick.
Fenty Beauty launched at Sephora in 2017, and expanded with Fenty Skin in 2020 and Fenty Hair in 2024.
In February 2023, she shared with ELLE how she developed the Liquid Lipstick, saying, “When it comes to matte liquid lipstick, we all know the deal—intense pigment often comes with intense dryness. I wanted to fix that. Fenty Beauty Fenty Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick has a luxe formula that’s creamy and whipped so that the color glides on and feels plush but won’t crack. That’s why we call it a ‘velvet matte.’ It comes in a range of five shades of reds, pinks, and neutrals that are flexible and work on everyone.”
She also shared how thinks about fashion and beauty for herself.
“My mantra has always been and always will be, ‘Beauty is there to have fun with,” Rihanna explained. “It should never feel like pressure or a uniform.’ I hope that carries on, because it’s an incredibly joyful and freeing way to live.”
And that hasn’t changed since she and boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their two sons, RZA and Riot Rose.
“Becoming a mother has only added to the inspiration in my life,” the star shared. “I’ve had to find the balance between an efficient routine that maximizes precious ‘me’ time and full glam, because I really enjoy that colorful creative process.”
