On Saturday, Taylor Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium to see Travis Kelce play with the Kansas City Chiefs against the Houston Texans wearing a long red coat with a fuzzy collar and cuffs over semi-sheer black tights and knee-high black boots. On her head, she had on a black bucket hat. In one hand, she carried a small red purse.
The couple were reunited this month as Swift’s epic Eras Tour came to a close on December 8 in Vancouver. Kelce was unable to make it to her final concert because the date conflicted with a Chiefs game. Soon after, however, he threw her a huge Eras Tour-themed wrap party in Kansas City, which reportedly came as a big surprise to the pop star. According to a source speaking with Page Six, Swift was “shocked” when she entered the room to see all her friends.
The insider said that the Swift was “blown away” that Kelce “went out of his way” to throw her a huge bash.
“Taylor couldn’t have been more shocked when she saw everyone standing there,” the insider said. “That was the last thing she was expecting and she couldn’t believe Travis went out of his way to throw a surprise party for her. She thought it was so thoughtful and such a sweet gesture. It really meant so much to her.”
The source said that Kelce “had this party planned for a while” and it was “something he knew he wanted to do” for Swift. The NFL star “wanted to throw Taylor a surprise party because he felt like she deserved a huge celebration after all the hard work she’s put in.”
They added that he is “so proud of her” and “thankful he was able to pull it off without a hitch.”
Swift’s bestie Ashley Avignone posted a carousel of photos from the event that indicated Swift was surprised, writing, “When she thought she was going to a small, quiet dinner but it was actually a giant surprise party with her friends and family, props included.”
