A few days later, the couple was spotted out in Los Angeles, with Nicola holding a bouquet of roses.

February 2020

Brooklyn and Nicola attended the Saint Laurent show at Paris Fashion Week in matching black outfits. Nicola wore a long-sleeve top, paired with long pants and platform shoes, while Brooklyn stepped out in a blazer and coordinating trousers.

July 2020

Brooklyn proposed to Nicola. He later shared the news on Instagram. “Two weeks ago, I asked my soulmate to marry me, and she said yes,” Brooklyn wrote. “I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx.”

He said, “I proposed in the countryside in New York in Bedford. Nicola spoke about the moment as well in a March 2023 Cosmopolitan interview. She said Brooklyn was vocal about his hopes to marry her one day: “He would tell me all the time, ‘I want to be with you’ or ‘I want to marry you.’ We got engaged eight months into our relationship, and at that point, he’d actually had the ring sitting in our room for three months.”

Attendees included celebrities like Serena Williams, Gordon Ramsay, and Eva Longoria. David Blaine performed, and Marc Anthony sang during the reception. A source also revealed to People that Nicola’s grandmother was her maid of honor; Nicola later confirmed this in her March 2023 interview with Cosmopolitan.

“My Naunni was my maid of honor, and so she walked down the aisle,” Nicola said. “She waved her bouquet in the air and she was cheering, and everyone started cheering for her…Grandmas are the best.”
