On February 22, the day before the SAG Awards, Selena Gomez was hard at work, per photos that came out yesterday of Gomez and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, on the set of an upcoming music video for their album, I Said I Love You First. Gomez was particularly striking in a black lingerie set from Victoria’s Secret, consisting of a sheer black robe and $70 slip dress. She accessorized with a pearl necklace and accented her look with a red statement lip.
Both pieces are available to shop at Victoria’s Secret, although the robe is sold out at the moment:
She was also seen in a red look on the Anaheim, California, set. Blanco, meanwhile, was in a burnt-orange suit with ’70s vibes.
Earlier this month, the couple spoke to Interview about their decision to make an album together. Blanco is a music producer with whom Gomez has worked in the past.
“We said at the beginning, ‘If this ever is weird, we cancel it fucking immediately,’” Blanco recalled. “Because we knew what we had was so important.”
“Yeah. I definitely didn’t feel any sort of pressure,” Gomez added. “I was maybe just nervous with jitters in the beginning, and then slowly but surely it was happening, and it sort of fell into place with a lot of hard work and love.”
“We also just made it in this house,” Blanco continued. “We weren’t going to a studio every day. I’d be like, ‘Hey, I have this cool chord thing.’ Then she’d come in. We weren’t like, ‘Today’s the studio. We’re going to write this song and that.’ So many times it was so hodgepodge. It was like two hours here, two hours there. I’d never worked that way with someone. Usually I work that way if I’m by myself, but it was so cool to be able to do that with her.”
I Said I Love You First comes out on March 21.
