This Is Us actor Milo Ventimiglia and model Jarah Mariano have been married just over one year, but they keep their relationship fairly private. That has always been Ventimiglia’s style when it comes to his romantic relationships. He told People in 2017 that he wants his work as an actor to be at the forefront of people’s minds, not his love life.
“I try to minimize myself so people can see the character and can really dive into the work,” he shared. “I try and remain as anonymous and invisible as I can so it doesn’t take away from the experience of the men that I play. I don’t know how interesting my life is any more than anyone else’s.”

Who is Jarah Mariano?
Mariano was born in Kauai, Hawaii, in 1984. She later moved to California and then New York City as a teen, before going to college at Pace University, where she received a degree in Speech Communications with a concentration in Media Studies. She pursued a career in modeling and made her debut as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue star in 2008. She also appeared in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, MAC, Armani Exchange, and Victoria’s Secret.
She’s starred in music videos, including Jay-Z’s “Show Me What You Got,” and had acting roles on Chuck, Rescue Me, Minority Report, and The Audition.
Mariano has talked a lot about her heritage, especially her pride in being from Hawaii. In May 2021, for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Mariano shared on Facebook that she is Korean and has Native Hawaiian ancestry. In November 2021, she launched H I N A + K ū fragrance, which works with the Makalapua Fund, an organization that provides education and aid in Hawaii.

In 2022, Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi posted a photo of Ventimiglia and Mariano together in response to a question about who the Gilmore Girls actor was dating. In October 2023, pictures shared by TMZ showed Ventimiglia wearing a wedding wring. That month, Us Weekly confirmed they been married earlier that year. In September 2024, Mariano shared pictures of their wedding on her Instagram timeline saying they’d gotten married “last year.”

In February 2024, Ventimiglia spoke with Extra, saying that “things are good” in his married life.
“We’ve had relationships that have come and have gone and then you get to a point where you kind of meet your match and meet someone that inspires you in a way different than anybody else,” he said. “I’m grateful for her and I’m happy to have arrived in this moment, so married life is nice.”

The couple announced they were expecting their first child in September 2024. Mariano shared a photo of herself sitting on her surfboard in a bikini in Hawaii with a visible baby bump.
