Challengers star Zendaya may be the only child of her parents Kazembe Ajamu Coleman and Claire Stoermer, but she has a huge family. Her dad had five other children. She seems to have a close relationship with all of her half-siblings and all of her nieces and nephews, whom she posts about lovingly—and with very little identifying information.
Here’s what we do know about the group so far.
Julien Stoermer Coleman
Zendaya’s older brother, Julien, goes by the nickname “EZ” and has a wife named Sonja. They share three children; one of whom, Ezenia, is very close to Zendaya. Like her dad, Ezenia prefers a shorter moniker and goes by “Zink.”
She and Zendaya are very close and even did a cute video for Teen Vogue.
Austin Stoermer Coleman
Zendaya’s second older brother is Austin Coleman. Like several of her siblings, he does not have social media. Because of how little information can be found about him online, there is some confusion over his identity. Zendaya’s longtime assistant, Darnell Appling, is sometimes misidentified as Austin because they are together so much. In one birthday post to her in 2020, he even signed off as “your brother Austin (Darnell).”
Katianna Stoermer Coleman
Zendaya’s older sister Katianna goes by “Kizzi,” and the star really admires her. In 2015, she told Time, “I look up to my big sister and realize the influence she’s had on me and making me a better person. Having such a big, grounded family, I realized as you get older how important that is.”
Like Austin, Kizzi doesn’t have public social media accounts, but Zendaya shared some details of her life with Vogue in 2019. Kizzi lives in Oakland with her husband and their two daughters, Imani and Isys.
In an interview with Complex, Zendaya shared how important her relationship to her nephews and nieces are, especially when it comes to her own conduct online. The interview happened around the time Giuliana Rancic made an offensive remark about Zendaya’s dreads when she was walking the red carpet. The Spider-Man star responded on Instagram at the time, writing, “My wearing my hair in locs on an Oscar red carpet was to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of color that our hair is good enough.”
“My little nieces have curly hair,” she later told Complex. “And if they were to have someone say something demeaning about what they have and what they hold dear to them, then I would want them to at least have the pride within themselves to come up with a response that made sense and that they were proud of.”
She added, “Honestly, I think about my little nieces and my little nephews first. Because one day they’re going to have Twitter and they’re going to have Instagram, and I’m going to be like, ‘This is how you handle it, kids.’”
One other tidbit about Kizzi: she evidently took her older brother EZ to prom, and they looked great.

Annabella is also one of Zendaya’s siblings who stays offline.
