On Sunday, February 18, Anya Taylor-Joy attended the British Vogue and Tiffany & Co. Fashion and Film BAFTA Awards 2024 afterparty at Annabel’s wearing a look from Fendi. The outfit included a gold crop top in a bralette style, held up by a rope of beige satin, which she paired with a matching skirt of the same material.
On her feet, Taylor-Joy wore a pair of white Jimmy Choo pumps. She had on a decorative white stone necklace, matching bracelet, and several rings, and left her long blonde hair down. For a pop of color, The Menu actress wore a dark red lip.
In 2017, Taylor-Joy was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award, and has frequently been in attendance at the prestigious London event since. Last year, she wore a couture design by French fashion house Schiaparelli. The gold velvet minidress came with a hood cloak that swept the ground, and she matched it with a pair of gold Aquazzura shoes.
That year, The Menu was nominated for the Original Screenplay award, a movie she starred in with Nicholas Hoult and Ralph Fiennes. When asked in an interview by USA Today if she was overwhelmed working with her famous co-star Fiennes, she answered, “Yes, but only at the very end.”
She continued, “My subconscious does this thing where if I can’t deal with information, it just stores it like a squirrel with a nut for winter, until there’s a moment I can deal with it. And so with Ralph, we just became really good friends and it wasn’t a big deal at all. And then the second the film ended, it was just, ‘Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! I have to call my mom!’ So he was very, very gracious about it.”
