On Thursday, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade so she could promote her Renaissance tour movie in a short pre-recorded video message to accompany a new trailer. Fans have been awaiting the new film with excitement, so this is quite the holiday treat.

“Hey, it’s Beyoncé, wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving,” the super star began. “I’m so honored to share with you the first look at the new Renaissance film trailer.”

For the video, Beyoncé wore a short sleeved top in black with white polka dots, and her hair was down in beachy waves. She was standing against a white background, and wore chandelier earrings. Her makeup palette was very natural with a healthy blush glow.

The short trailer offers some intimate glimpses at Beyoncé’s family life, including a conversation with daughter Rumi Carter as she tries to film her mom on the phone.

“Rumi, can I teach you a trick? You have to turn it (the camera) to the side. Yeah, there we go,” Beyoncé tells her.

There are also many shots from backstage as the star toured around the world, and a glimpse of both Megan Thee Stallion and Diana Ross.

In a voiceover, the singer says, “I have nothing to prove to anyone at this point. We are creating our own world. This is my reward. No one can take that away from me.”

Viewers can also expect plenty of concert footage, of course. There have been previous trailers for the film, but every new cut has something more for fans to dissect before it drops on December 1. The Renaissance Tour went across Europe starting in May of this year through the summer, before Beyoncé began her North American leg and concluded the trip in October.
