Bradley Cooper’s Daughter Lea de Seine Made Her Red Carpet Debut With Lady Gaga

Bradley Cooper had some very special guests at his Maestro premiere in Los Angeles last night: Lady Gaga and his six-year-old daughter with Irina Shayk, Lea de Seine. This is Lea’s first red carpet event, and she did a fantastic job posing with her father. She wore a leopard print Dolce & Gabbana chiffon dress and also got to have a moment with Gaga that photographers captured.

Lea’s mother Shayk spoke to ELLE earlier this year about what a great co-parent her ex Cooper is. “He’s the best father Lea and I could dream of,” she said. “It always works, but it always works because we make it work.”

She also discussed how she and Cooper have tried their best to give Lea as normal of a childhood as possible given their careers. “Looking at my daughter now, she’s growing up in a completely different environment,” Shayk said, contrasting it to her own more humble upbringing in Russia. “She lives in the West Village. She went to all these countries in two months. But we want her to know the value of stuff. We want to show our daughter, ‘You have to work hard to get something.’”

Gaga, Cooper’s other surprise guest, has been a close friend of his ever since starring alongside him in 2018’s A Star Is Born, which he also produced and directed.

The singer and actress memorably went viral for her remarks at the 2018 Venice Film Festival about the power of their relationship as artists. “For someone who doesn’t feel safe all the time, he made me feel so free,” Gaga said. “At the same time, he’s so laser-focused while he’s working. I got to live my dream.” And then she delivered the now-classic line: “There could be 100 people in the room and 99 don’t believe in you, just one—and it was him.”

She also further shut down then-romance rumors when speaking to ELLE in 2019 about their Oscars performance of the hit “Shallow” from the film. “Quite frankly, I think the press is very silly,” she started. “I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars. We wanted it to go right through the lens of that camera and to every television that it was being watched on. And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out—it was orchestrated as a performance.”
