Traveling has never been cooler—thanks in large part to Instagram. Now that pandemic-related travel restrictions have finally been lifted, we’re free to (literally) take flight and indulge in beautiful beaches, fantastic food, and unique experiences that beg to be documented. For this year’s lineup of 30 Places to Instagram, we sorted through myriad destinations across the world to bring you the absolute best of the best resorts, restaurants, bars, scenic lookouts, art exhibits, and more that deserve a coveted spot on your grid—and maybe even cross-promotion on TikTok. These are those must-visit places that are either already all over your feed, or about to be in the next year (maybe you’ll see them IRL too, if you’re lucky). Go ahead and make some plans, turn on your OOO auto-reply, and jet off to see somewhere special and new. Don’t forget to take pics.

Choice backdrop: Though the glamorous, ’70s-tinged rooms are perfectly picturesque, the real place to be seen is the pool, which feels like Miami-meets-the-Middle East in all the best ways.
Chalk it up to the nightlife gurus who brought you Ray’s, Pebble Bar, and Georgia Room: Jac’s on Bond, named after the “Mayor of Bond Street” Jack Champlin, has fast become the place to see and be seen in New York City’s NoHo. The casual downtown spot expectedly serves up great cocktails (the caprese martini is a standout), but don’t miss the small plates courtesy of the chefs behind Wildair and Contra.—Claire Stern, Digital Deputy Editor
Best time to get your shot: After hours.
Choice backdrop: A Jac’s on Bond-emblazoned coaster (or two).
Once home to 1950s-era coin-operated, vibrating beds, The Egyptian Motor Hotel has been totally reimagined as a retro-modern hang for the creative set. Conveniently stationed in downtown Phoenix, the real gem on the premises is Egyptian Live, a 250-seat outdoor bar that also serves up bites from Chilte, a local favorite for experimental Mexican that started as a food truck, and provides a venue for live music.—Katherine Krueger, Features Editor
Best time to get your shot: The place really gets rocking in the evenings.
Choice backdrop: Grab a cocktail, cuddle up by a firepit with your friends, and snap some candid shots.
A Bavarian-inspired village in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado? Suffice it to say, you should grab your camera. Not only is The Arrabelle at Vail Square steps away from the slopes—it’s closed off to cars and buses, meaning there’s absolutely nothing that’ll ruin your photo.—Claire Stern, Digital Deputy Editor
Best time to get your shot: Après-ski.
Choice backdrop: The mountains.
In the heart of Milan, hidden in plain sight by ancient Spanish walls, QC Termemilano is not so much a spa as a multi-sensory wellness journey. Stay for a few hours, or all day long—the choice is yours. (I recommend arriving in the late afternoon, so you can enjoy the evening aperitivo.) From 5 P.M. to 8 P.M., you’re encouraged to hang out in your robe and nosh on charcuterie and unlimited Prosecco. All in all, the perfect end to a relaxing day.—Danielle James, Digital Beauty Director
Best time to get your shot: Pre-aperitivo, so you can use both hands.
Choice backdrop: The cinematic pool room that simulates being in an actual thunderstorm went viral on TikTok for good reason.
The mark of a truly Instagrammable spot is when you don’t need a location tag to telegraph where you are. Such is true for Palm Heights, a boutique hotel in Grand Cayman, which opened its doors in 2019 and has already drawn the attention of celebrities like Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and Chloë Sevigny, to name just a few. Set on the dreamy Seven Mile Beach, all you need to do is take a selfie among the property’s signature buttercup yellow umbrellas and striped towels to show off where you’re vacationing. After you’re done, head upstairs to your suite—all of which feature an ocean view—or fuel up at one of the hotel’s four eateries.—Madison Feller, Senior Writer/Editor
Best time to get your shot: Anytime you’re on the beach is a good time, but sunset might offer a dramatic backdrop.
Choice backdrop: Umbrellas and towels—it’s all you need.

Nita Ambani was inspired by her childhood love of learning Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form, to open a place in Mumbai that spotlights Indian culture and art and preserves it for future generations. The Cultural Centre is home to breathtaking spaces, among them Dhirubhai Ambani Square, where the Fountain of Joy features shows shooting water 45 feet in the air along with elements of fire, lights, and music, and The Grand Theatre, a gorgeous 2,000-seat venue for concerts and musicals that help bring Indian culture to the rest of the world.—Katherine Krueger, Features Editor

There are plenty of classic New York moments to be had when you visit the Big Apple, but for the fashion and jewelry lovers, none come quite as close as a visit to Tiffany & Co. for a little (or a lot of) shopping. Choice backdrop: If you’re a fan of the classics, nothing beats the Audrey Experience. We’re also quite fond of the staircase.

Choice backdrop: Right by the window, overlooking the garden.
Sure, Vilas Bangkok’s minimal, curved interiors deserve a post—but it’s the 12-course Thai tasting menu that will force you to create a carousel. Inspired by King Chulalongkorn’s 1897 journey to Europe, Thai chef Prin Polsuk has teamed up with Spanish chef Pepe Dasí Jiménez to create a seasonal menu that combines “new world ingredients and ancient cooking techniques.” Considered one of the best new restaurants around the globe, you’ll have to make your reservation a month in advance; just remember that dishes like pork belly with coffee kombucha could await you.—Madison Feller, Senior Writer/Editor

With eight courts, a pro shop, a sunset deck, and a restaurant, Wynwood Padel Club is the biggest—and bougiest—padel club in the country. For the uninitiated, the sport of “padel” is a mix between tennis and squash that’s played in doubles on an enclosed court. Step aside, pickle ball. The courts at Wynwood are pristine, and the vibes are immaculate. Take a lesson with a pro or play with a friend. Pics or it didn’t happen.—Rose Minutaglio, Senior Writer/Editor
Best time to get your shot: Golden hour.
Choice backdrop: Courts and nets.

You can catch a pretty sunset from just about anywhere in the world, which is exactly what makes Oia, the popular village on the island of Santorini with a spectacular reputation for sunsets, so notable. Nestled atop a Grecian island in the South Aegean Sea, it is beloved for its Mediterranean blue-domed buildings and white-washed stone, which seem to practically glow when the golden-hour light hits just right. The resulting pictures will be some of the most beautiful you’ve ever taken—and they still won’t do the scene justice.—Lauren Puckett-Pope, Staff Culture Writer
Best time to get your shot: Right as the sun starts to hover above the horizon.
Choice backdrop: A sailboat of your choice, preferably with a good co-pilot and a glass of bubbly in hand.

Currently under construction in Edinburgh’s historic port district of Leith, this waterfront distillery promises to be a hub for innovation, experimentation, and, yes, making lots and lots of whiskey. The Port of Leith Distillery’s unique design—it’s nine stories tall, making it the U.K.’s first-ever vertical distillery—comes from the quirk of its location: a small historic parcel of land right on the water, not far from the Royal Yacht Britannia. The distillery, which plans to open this summer, will feature a top-floor bar with panoramic views of Leith, Fife, and Edinburgh. It’ll certainly be a sight to see—while sipping an artisan scotch whiskey, of course.—Katherine Krueger, Features Editor
Best time to get your shot: Try for sunset.
Choice backdrop: The entire city of Edinburgh from a bird’s-eye view.
