You know what they say, you can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl. But there comes a time when even a city girl yearns for an escape. I was recently approached by Adidas with the opportunity of a lifetime to go on a hiking trip to Sedona, Arizona. Of course, the adventure seeker inside of me instantly said yes. My initial thought was, “what am I going to wear?” Being a first time hiker, I owned zero hiking gear and was unsure on where to begin. With hundreds of fitness brands in the market, it easily became overwhelming when looking for practical and comfortable clothing that will protect me from extreme weather conditions while of course, staying stylish.
This was my first time camping in the desert, and Adidas’ new TERREX outdoor gear served as a one-stop shop for everything I needed for a seamless hiking adventure. I had the chance to test the broad collection from head to toe. Keep reading to check out my honest review of the entire Adidas TERREX look I wore in Sedona, including my thoughts on whether the pieces are worth the splurge.

What I Like About the Trail-Running Pants and the Hike 1/2 Zip Fleece
To give you some context, I am 5’8 and ordered a size medium. The TERREX Agravic Hybrid Trail-Running Pants ($120) has an elite tapered fit, perfect length, and a necessary high waist. The elastic waist band was functional, allowing me to secure the pants to my liking. The TERREX Hike 1/2 Zip Fleece ($81) is the vital piece that kept me cool during the day but warm through the night. I really enjoyed how easy it was to transition this piece from day to night, making it unchallenging to add layers throughout the day as the temperature dropped in Sedona.

I was so impressed with the light weight fabric of the trail-running pants. They were so flexible and really allowed me to feel confident during my hikes. Additionally, the hike 1/2 zip fleece has a flattering crop in the front, running longer in the back.
