In My Opinion, These Are the Greatest Heeled Black Boots

Fashion

A lot of women living in New York City lament that it’s so hard to find “a good man.” I’m more concerned with finding good footwear, but hey, that’s just me. And if I’m sticking with this analogy, I finally found my version of a golden retriever boyfriend, the holy grail of fall/winter shoes: the Allegra boot.

Frankie4 Allegra Black

Allegra Black

The knee-high style is classic and timeless with a pointed toe and black leather composition. It looks perfect paired with jeans, dresses, or suits, but the best part is undoubtedly the comfort. I have to thank Aussie brand Frankie4 for these podiatrist-designed beauties. The footbed is engineered to provide heel, arch, and forefoot support. Three layers of cushioning ease pressure points and cradle the heel. Can you say that any of your other pumps were carefully crafted with body alignment in mind? Didn’t think so.

If you struggle to find boots that fit properly, this next part might be of particular interest. Each pair comes with a SoleSaver pack to accommodate a personalized fit. If the shoe is a bit roomy, add the included forefoot insert. If it feels too tight, swap the full-length sole for a half-length one. This Goldilocks feature could be a game changer for shoppers with two different size feet. These shoes come in half sizes and have a full interior zipper to guarantee happy feet and easy wear.

The heel clocks in at a healthy 2.75 inches, which is ideal for me. It’s just tall enough that I don’t feel frumpy or ask myself, “why didn’t I just wear flats?” And trust me, that’s a big feat. Some reviewers report that the shoe runs narrow, but that’s not true in my experience. I’d call them true to size.

Look, I don’t work for this brand. They aren’t paying me to talk about these boots. I won’t even mention the free shipping or use of recycled plastics. I’m merely a girl trying to spread the word about a pair of shoes that I love truly, madly, deeply. That’s all.
