Jennifer Lawrence’s rep confirmed news of her second pregnancy on Sunday. One day later, a source spoke to People about how excited Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, are about giving their two-year-old son, Cy, a sibling. The insider also lifted the veil a bit on Maroney and Lawrence’s very private marriage.
The source said the actress “loves being a mom. She’s thrilled to be pregnant again. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will 3 when the new baby arrives.”
She and Maroney are also doing very well as a couple. “She’s very happy with Cooke,” the source shared. “They are great together. He’s super chill, and it rubs off on her.”
Lawrence was photographed yesterday in New York. She and her husband were seen kissing and holding hands. Lawrence wore a yellow button-up top with black pants. She left the top partly open, showing off her pregnant figure.
In November 2021, the star explained to Vanity Fair why she had decided to keep her personal life private. At that point, she was pregnant with Cy.
“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’” she said. “But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”
