Model Kaia Gerber has reportedly been dating actor Lewis Pullman for several months, according to a source speaking with Us Weekly, though news of her split from Austin Butler is relatively recent. Gerber and Butler dated for three years before parting ways in late 2024.
“Kaia and Lewis have actually been together for a while now,” the insider explained. “They started dating in early December [2024]. They kept it under wraps until the news of her and Austin’s split came out. Kaia and Austin have been broken up since October.”
The source added, “In early December, Kaia and Lewis started seriously hanging out and were seen all around L.A., but mostly on the east side. Kaia would make sure to be in a hat to try and be unnoticed, but they would be at their favorite restaurants, bars and clubs, holding hands and showing PDA. They were just frequenting crowds that didn’t really know them.”
The new couple have “known each other for a while now,” having met in similar social circles. Both Gerber and Pullman are the children of other famous Los Angelenos, Gerber being the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, while Lewis is the son of actor Bill Pullman.
“They run in the same circle and have similar friend groups, and that’s how they were introduced,” the insider went on, saying their connection is “very natural and relaxed.”
They continued, “Kaia likes that this relationship feels low-pressure and that Lewis is a very low-key guy…They have a lot of chemistry and a very easygoing relationship. She’s really happy and feels like she can be herself. There’s no pressure to be an A-list couple like there was in her past relationships.”
Pullman was last romantically linked to Rainey Qualley in 2022, daughter of actress Andie MacDowell and sister to The Substance’s Margaret Qualley.
