On Father’s Day, Kensington Palace released photos to celebrate the dads in the Royal Family, including a photo taken by Kate Middleton of Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. In the new pic, the group is standing on the beach in Norfolk and looking away at the water.
The kids are all dressed in shades of blue, with William in a navy hoodie and green shorts. He has his arms wrapped around him as they enjoy the scenery.
For the first time on their social media accounts, the caption is attributed to “G, C & L,” meaning it came from the trio of children. The caption read, “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day.”
The couple also shared a picture of Prince William as a child with his own father, King Charles. The post showed them kicking a ball around the garden in 1984.
This weekend, the Princess of Wales made her first public appearance in some time, attending the Trooping the Color parade. This came after an update on her condition which she posted on social media Friday.
“I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times,” she wrote. “I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.”
Kate continued, “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.”
