Kate Middleton leaned into fall warm tones when she stepped out today wearing a gold Karen Millen dress, which was belted and had a pleated skirt. She wore her hair down in loose waves. The Princess of Wales visited the maternity ward of Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, England, notably spending time with newborns in the hospital.
On her and Prince William’s Instagram, Kate reflected on the visit, writing, “With a focus on maternal mental health, alongside pioneering overnight facilities, Royal Surrey County Hospital ensures women and their families feel safe, supported and have the best chance of developing those all-important early attachments which are so crucial to ensuring their babies grow and thrive. It was lovely to meet some of the new mothers and their babies who are supported by such a brilliant team at the hospital.”
The dress, by the way, hasn’t sold out yet and is available here:
Kate wore a very autumnal red jacket on September 27 during the princess’s first visit to Wales since receiving the title from King Charles III. Kate and William went to St Thomas Church and Royal National Lifeboat Institution Holyhead Lifeboat Station. Kate accessorized with a black top and pants. She opted to wear her hair down straight and carried a black bag.
Kate and William reflected on their milestone trip on social media in two posts. In their first, they wrote, “Diolch Anglesey! What a welcome, it’s great to be back 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿” the couple wrote on their Instagram. “It’s been wonderful spending time chatting to members of the local community and meeting these brave @rnli volunteers who help keep people safe on the North Wales shores.”
