Culture

On Friday, Kendall Jenner headed to West Hollywood venue Delilah to celebrate her tequila brand 818, since the date was literally 8/18. This is the third year in a row that the model has celebrated her tequila’s day, though her brand is actually named after the area code she grew up in, not the date.

Jenner wore a skintight see-through bodycon dress with one sleeve and an asymmetrical neckline in a champagne shade. Through the layers of thin fabric, her slightly paler bra and underwear set were visible as well as a darker belt around her waist. Over her shoulder was a green handbag with green hardware straps. She left her hair down and was wearing small hoop earrings. On her feet were a pair of silver flat shoes.

In her Instagram Stories, The Kardashian‘s star shared a close up of her make up look. She wore a smokey eye and dark pink lipstick.

Jenner was not joined by rumored boyfriend Bad Bunny, though they have been seen out together frequently in Los Angeles this summer. During a recent interview with WSJ Magazine, she responded only “no comment” when asked about the relationship. But she did explain why she’d being so tight-lipped after her recent public break up with NBA star Devin Booker.

The model said she is trying to strike a “balance of keeping things private and keeping things sacred,” and to “also not letting the unfortunate frustration and stress of everyone trying to get in on it stop me from enjoying my side. Does that make sense?”

She added, “I’ll go out of my way to do things as privately as possible because I just think that that’s the healthier way of dealing with relationships anyway.”

Bad Bunny has also not spoken about Jenner, and in an interview with Rolling Stone, he said, “I know something is going to come out. I know [people are] going to say something. People know everything about me, so what’s left for me to protect? My private life, my personal life. That’s the only answer. In the end, the only thing I have is my privacy.”

The rapper continued, “We’re in the worst time, the worst moment for the privacy of other humans; not just artists, but human beings. Today, no one respects the privacy or life of anyone… [f]ans are always going to want to know more, but I don’t focus on that. I’m always going to keep living my way.”
