A Miley Cyrus award ceremony arrival includes a few certainties: a stunning, radiant face; a much-talked-about hairdo; and, as the 2025 Grammys would have it, a gorgeous outfit change for the actual show.
As if her red carpet dress wasn’t already a win, Cyrus walked into the ceremony an actualGrammy winner, taking home the award for Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Beyoncé on “II Most Wanted” from Cowboy Carter. Inside, Cyrus sat alongside her mother, Tish Cyrus, wearing a gown that was the complete opposite of the one she had worn on the carpet. Cyrus traded her black cutout Saint Laurent leather dress for a long-sleeved, ankle-length bodycon gown with a deep cutout in the back. She paired the dress with black strappy sandals.
The singer kept her accessories to a minimum, only sporting a stack of glistening diamond rings on one hand and gold ones on the other. However, the star of the show remained her honey-blonde, soft-swept bangs with blunt, chin-grazing layers.
To say Cyrus and Beyoncé’s Grammy win was written in the stars wouldn’t be too far-fetched. In a resurfaced clip from 2006, a young Cyrus told an interviewer, “Beyoncé is here. My mom is always telling me, ‘What would Beyoncé do?’ So, I am excited to meet her tonight.” Fast-forward to last March, after she collaborated with Beyoncé on Cowboy Carter, the singer shared a heartfelt tribute to the woman she once dreamed of working with.
“I’ve loved Beyoncé since long before I had the opportunity to meet & work with her,” she wrote on Instagram. “My admiration runs so much deeper now that I’ve created along side of her. Thank you Beyoncé. You’re everything & more. Love you. To everyone who spent time making this song so special thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Cyrus adds another Grammy to her expanding collection, which includes her 2024 award for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Flowers” from her album Endless Summer Vacation.
