On Saturday, Selena Gomez attended Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors To Watch Brunch in Palm Springs during the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The Only Murders in the Building star was glowing in a blush pink tweed minidress from Oscar de la Renta which featured pockets embroidered in a floral pattern.
She had her hair in gentle waves and wore a natural makeup palette with a pink lip. The star was wearing her marquise diamond engagement ring from fiancé Benny Blanco, as well as Swarovski Dextera hoop earrings and a matching Swarovski ring.
On her feet were a pair of pale pink pumps with a buckle detail on the toe. Later, she changed into a shorter pair of white heels with black patent leather toes and wore an oversized white coat with balloon sleeves.
On Friday, Gomez walked the red carpet for the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards wearing a three-piece suit all in white, with a tailored coat and wide-legged pants. The white tie was in contrast to her mesh top with a white collar, creating a cut out effect over her chest.
She and the cast of Jacques Audiard’s film Emilia Pérez, Karla Sofia Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, and Edgar Ramírez, received the festival’s Vanguard Award that evening.
In an interview with W Magazine this week, Gomez shared what attracted her to the script.
“Pure curiosity,” she said. “I love working with incredible filmmakers—that’s usually what I’m drawn to the most. When I read the script, I thought it was extremely thought-provoking, visceral, and groundbreaking. But some films may not turn out that way. I really felt that Audiard is just so spectacular that the movie was in really good hands.”
