Fresh off of her appearance at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event Tuesday, Selena Gomez spent another evening out in Los Angeles last night. The star and her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, attended an event at San Vicente Bungalows. Gomez wore a very chic date-night look, wearing a black top and blazer, which she paired with belted jeans and black heels. Blanco opted for more of a statement look, wearing a graphic top with dark pants.
Gomez and Blanco have been dating for over a year. She recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about why she has shared photos from their life together on Instagram. “When you put a little bit out there, people are not as hungry to hunt you down,” she explained. “Like, if they hear something, they’re going to, but if you’re like, ‘I did it,’ they’re like, ‘Oh, well there’s you, just going to Sushi Park.’ But there’s so much of my relationship people don’t see, that’s just mine.”
She added that she and Blanco are very serious as a couple, which also contributed to their decision to be public about their dating. She said, “I guess this is the safest I’ve ever felt in [a relationship], and I see a future with this person.”
Blanco gushed about his girlfriend during his appearance this week on Kai Cenat’s Twitch. He said they spend “every day together, like as many days as we can, every day. She’s my best friend. Actual best friend.”
