Selena Gomez has been making a splash in France for the Cannes Film Festival, wearing glamorous summer fashion as she promotes her upcoming movie Emilia Pérez. The star was seen in two different summer dress looks this weekend, first at the Hôtel Martinez in an off-the-shoulder form-fitting dress in dark navy blue with a black ruffled wrap around the bodice.
The star wore her hair down and added red lipstick for a pop of color. She accessorized with silver rings and a pair of black sling-back heels.
For a second event, she wore a Balmain dress with a red halter corset bodice and a floral red and white skirt that ended at her ankles. She had her hair swept back from her face, and wore silver earrings and a sun-kissed makeup palette.

Upon her arrival in Cannes, Gomez was photographed wearing a white pointelle peplum minidress by Self-Portrait with matching black and white sling-back heels, Jennifer Meyer earrings, white sunglasses, while carrying an Aspinal of London bag.
In March, while promoting her song “Love On,” Gomez told Rolling Stone that she loves France and stayed in Paris while filming Emilia Pérez.
“I felt like I can be a normal human being there,” she said. “I fell in love with everything about it and the life that I lived there for two months.”
About acting more during this moment in her career, Gomez explained, “I think it’s natural for people to take breaks, but I think for me, there is a whole other aspect to my life, pride and joy. I love film. I love TV. I just feel like I haven’t done a lot of the things that I want to do in that space. It’s not that it’s ‘no, never’ [to music], it’s more that I would like to explore that world a bit more and have the time to actually do that.”
