Selena Gomez added to her enviable Only Murders in the Building outwear collection yesterday in New York City when she was photographed filming in Washington Heights while wearing a chic oversized camel coat.
She paired it with gray pants and a white sweater. It’s unclear whether this was just her on-set attire or her character Mabel’s actual wardrobe in the show; time will tell. But Gomez was previously seen on set in a two-toned trench this week and a David’s Bridal wedding dress last month.
Gomez most recently made headlines for the release of her Rare Beauty lip oil, a product that has sold out at Sephora in all but two shades and was two years in the making.
Gomez spoke about the process in an interview with ELLE.com. The lip oil is different from others “because the transformative texture is unlike anything I have experienced in a lip oil,” she explained. “When applied, it goes on like a jelly but transforms into a hydrating formula. It’s special! Most lip oils I have tried have a smaller shade range because it’s hard to develop, but it was really important to us to create a wide range that would be flattering for any skin tone.”
The reason they took their time with it was so the product could have so many colors and not end up being sticky, which some other lip oils can be: “The formula took two years to develop because it’s such a unique texture in a variety of shades—getting the right shades is always really important in our development process,” she said.
