Selena Gomez got to work early Tuesday, making a stop at a Sephora store in New York City for a Rare Beauty event ahead of World Mental Health Day on October 10. The singer showed off her early fall work style, pairing a black Khaite bodysuit and gold studded belt with white slacks. (The Khaite belt is called the Benny belt, in a potential nod to Gomez’s boyfriend, Benny Blanco.) She completed the look with gold hoops and a black Saint Laurent bag.
On October 1, Gomez announced that Sephora will be donating 100 percent of Rare Beauty sales on October 10 to the Rare Impact Fund, which supports mental health organizations.
The star wrote on Instagram, “It’s happening again 🥹 I couldn’t be more grateful to share @sephora is partnering with @rarebeauty to donate 100% of Rare Beauty global sales to the Rare Impact Fund on World Mental Health Day, October 10th. For 24 hours, ALLLLL sales (both online and in-store!) will go towards increasing access to mental health resources and education for young people around the world. The Rare Impact Fund began before we ever launched a product. Over the past 4 years, we have provided resources to 26 grantees globally who are doing incredible work. We couldn’t do this without your support, and it means the world to me that Sephora is joining us in our mission! Hold your cart until 10/10 😉 Together, let’s #MakeARareImpact!”
Gomez will also be participating in her mental health organization Wondermind’s first Mental Fitness Summit on October 10. She will be part of a talk on “Getting Unstuck: tips for navigating uncertainty and anxiety around what’s next—and actually gaining moment.”
You can register for the free summit here.
