On Thursday night, Taylor Swift stepped out in Greenwich Village in New York City wearing one of her classic miniskirt looks in nearly monochrome black. The Eras Tour star wore her black pleated skirt with semi-sheer black tights, black heeled loafers with buckles, and a black jacket lined with strips of cream shearling to give the ensemble some contrast.
She carried a small black purse on a long strap and left her hair down. The musician was wearing her signature red lip and reportedly headed to Electric Lady Studios.
The star recently celebrated her birthday and posted photos that showed off a statement ring which had fans wondering if she’d received a special piece of jewelry from boyfriend Travis Kelce. The ring featured a central stone of opal, surrounded by small blue topaz stones. The singer’s friend Keleigh Sperry took to Instagram to clarify that gift was from her with picture proof.
“Love this ring I had made for my friend, she’s bejeweled,” Sperry wrote across the image. She went on to call out “all media outlets” that speculated otherwise, joking, “Here ya go!”
She also shared a blurry pic of it seemingly on Swift’s hand, adding, “Love you T, bye media!”
Swift’s party was celebrated by a number of stars, including Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Jack Antonoff, Antoni Porowski, Este and Alana Haim, Blake Lively, Sabrina Carpenter, and Gracie Abrams. Kelce was not in attendance because of mandatory practice with the Kansas City Chiefs, but he and Swift celebrated a few days earlier in his team’s hometown.
A source told US Weekly this week that though Swift and Kelce have only been together a few months, “they’ve had plenty of really deep conversations about their future together” and are making “as much time for each other as possible.”
“When they can’t physically be together, they are constantly texting, calling, and FaceTiming,” said the insider. “Taylor’s relationship with Travis is like nothing she’s ever experienced before…They got serious fairly quickly and she was proud to show off their relationship from the jump.”
