The Kacey Musgraves x Reformation Collection Just Dropped—Here’s What to Get

Fashion

Dear reader, I wish I could say I wrote the following words, but here, I offer you a direct quote from Reformation: “It might not be right for the club, but neither are you right now. Once your brat summer’s over, dig deep and find yourself in Ref x Kacey.” What a way to usher in what I’ve dubbed frolic girl fall. (One of these days, we’ll put the [blank] girl [season] formula to rest, but today is not today.)

Today marks the release of singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves’s collaboration with sustainable fashion brand Reformation, which is being thematically marketed as “engineered for frolicking” and intended for “slowing down and growing up.”

The 17-piece capsule collection, which was inspired by Musgraves’s own evolution—personally and musically—was designed in partnership between the two in celebration of the start of Musgraves’s Deeper Well tour.

“Designing every little detail of this collection and partnering with an earth-conscious brand I’m organically a fan of was such a joy and a fun opportunity to flex a different creative muscle,” Musgraves said in the official release. “Each piece was very thoughtfully and personally crafted over many months and propels the classic aesthetic of Deeper Well into a new, wearable dimension.”

It’s earthy and vintage-inspired; it’s cottagecore meets western. The color palettes are warm. The textures are varied, from silk and suede to lace and denim. There’s even a new floral print custom-designed for Kacey’s pieces. In addition to matching separates and knitwear, shoppers can browse a small selection of accessories, including headscarves, lace-up pointed-toe heels, and riding boots.

You can shop the line at Reformation’s website, in the brand’s brick-and-mortar stores, and at Nordstrom.
