Tom Holland Says the Last Thing He Googled Was ‘Zendaya’

This week, Tom Holland made fans swoon when he admitted that the last thing he “Googled” was the name of his own girlfriend, Zendaya, as a way of checking up on her since he left social media. The actor shared his adorable habit while on the podcast On The Menu, hosted by Samah Dada, while promoting his new non-alcoholic beer company, Bero.

Dada asked about his Googling habits and Holland replied, “The last thing I googled was actually Zendaya. I’m not on socials and I delete it when I’m not using it. So sometimes like—it’s more of a bit of an anxiety thing…I’ll check to see if everything’s good and to make sure we’re all cool. So I just give her a little Google and look through the news and I’m like, ‘she’s good.’”

The couple have gradually become more public with their relationship. A recent viral clip showed Holland and Zendaya in New York City in which the latter is swarmed by fans and photographers. The Spider-Man star ended up breaking through the crowd to pull Zendaya along with him, saying, “Give us a little bit of space.”

At the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, Holland spoke with Extra a bit about his life with Zendaya off-screen, sharing how they still connect over the movie where they met.

“Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again,” he said. “I love those movies, and I love savoring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special. It’s such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth.”
