Kanye West’s romance with Irina Shayk is done, and West’s relationship with ex Kim Kardashian has improved enough that they were seen having lunch together in Malibu last week. But does that mean the two could potentially reconcile? People and E! got intel from sources, who made it clear that while things are better between Kimye in the six months since Kardashian filed for divorce, the two are not getting back together.

A source told People point blank that Kimye dating again is not in the realm of possibilities right now. Kim and Kanye have a friendly relationship,” the source started. “It’s always been important to Kim to have a good relationship with Kanye. They are not getting back together though. She accepted his lunch invitation earlier this week because they are at the point now when they can hang out. There are no hard feelings.”

The source added that “Kim still appreciates Kanye’s business advice and guidance. She is happy that they can hang out. For a long time, Kanye was very upset and disappointed that Kim filed for divorce. She understood why and gave him space.”

E!’s own source echoed People‘s. Kardashian and West “finally feel like they are on the same page,” the insider, who’s close to Kardashian, told the outlet. “They are truly enjoying each other’s company and want to catch up from time to time. The tension has subsided and they are good friends now.”

“They really love each other as friends,” the source added, noting they have good communication now. “It’s all working out nicely and they are happy they can do things together as a big family now, instead of keeping it separate.”
