Things are getting more serious between Gigi Hadid and boyfriend Bradley Cooper as the actor approaches his 50th birthday. Sources speaking with Us Weekly in their newest cover story addressed how he plans to celebrate and where he and the model stand on a possible engagement.
“He doesn’t think too much about turning 50 other than how proud he is of his career trajectory and his most important job as a dad,” claimed an insider who suggested Cooper will spend the day in New York City. “It won’t be a Leonardo DiCaprio–style party, as that’s not Bradley’s [vibe]…but there is a celebration in the works.”
DiCaprio notably threw a huge party with his model girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, last month.
Of Hadid and Cooper, a second source said that the couple “are the real deal,” and their relationship “has become very serious over the last year.”
They alluded to there being a possible engagement in the future, but nothing is currently planned when it comes to a proposal.
“Bradley and Gigi have very calm temperaments and are very understanding; it’s why they mesh so well,” the second source continued, saying they both own farmhouses in Pennsylvania and spend a lot of time there.
The first source added, “Bradley is a very easygoing kind of guy. His demeanor is very relaxed and chill.”
They’re also both parents, with Hadid sharing her daughter Khai with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik. Cooper shares his daughter Lea with model Irina Shayk.
“They have a great coparenting friendship,” said the first source of Cooper and Shayk. “They make it [a priority] to spend time together with Lea and put in the effort to show her healthy relationships…Irina has always given her blessing for Gigi to be around Lea and date Bradley. They are all cordial and friendly.”
