Travis Kelce attended two of Taylor Swift’s three Amsterdam Eras Tour shows this past weekend, making his last appearance with her on July 6. But at Swift’s Zurich shows, which she played on July 9 and 10, Kelce wasn’t seen in the crowd.
His absence isn’t too surprising, as the Kansas City Chiefs player will begin his team’s NFL training camp on Sunday, July 21. Kansas City’s Sports Radio 810 WHB also shared that both Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, will be competing at the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, this weekend. The event runs from July 10 to 14, per its site.
It’s unclear if Kelce has arrived yet, but his brother was already photographed there. The flight from Amsterdam, where Kelce was last seen, to Lake Tahoe is over 11 hours long, for those wondering.
Given the tournament’s dates, Kelce isn’t likely to attend Swift’s Milan shows either, as the concerts are this Saturday and Sunday.
Still, Swift and Kelce are no strangers to being long distance. A source told Entertainment Tonight on June 14 that the couple “both move their schedules around if it’s feasible and try to carve out as much time as they can to see each other, as well as each other’s families and friends. They prioritize each other and do anything and everything to make each other happy. Their relationship is genuine and they both want to make it work, so it does.“
On July 2, a source also told People, “They really are very, very happy together. They’re very serious about each other, and the relationship feels different for both of them.”
They also discussed their future plans as Kelce’s football season starts: “Football is definitely still his priority but so is his relationship. He makes romantic gestures to show he’s thinking of her when they’re apart. She’s going to try to attend as many games as possible.”
