Another semester has nearly come and gone at Essex College. After a two-year-long wait, the past season of The Sex Lives of College Girls was a big one, filled with tearful exits (we miss you, Renée Rapp), new friends, relationship drama, and even one awkward family weekend on campus.
The girls have been busy: Bela is enjoying life as a resident assistant and is considering revisiting comedy; Kimberly is, as usual, trying to impress her teachers; and Whitney started going to therapy and learned to set boundaries. Even the series’ newbies have us invested in their journeys: Taylor (Mia Rodgers) dealt with difficult crushes and sobriety, while Kacey (Gracie Lawrence) dumped her high school boyfriend and had sex for the first time.
Will the series created by Justin Noble and Mindy Kaling be back for more? The details are slim for now, but we’re rounding up everything we know about a potential fourth season below.
Has The Sex Lives of College Girls been renewed for season 4?
At the time of writing, the streaming service Max has not yet renewed the comedy for another season. Fingers crossed an announcement comes soon.
Who would be in the cast?
If SLOCG does come back for another season, we’d expect our lead group of friends—Pauline Chalamet (Kimberly), Amrit Kaur (Bela), and Alyah Chanelle Scott (Whitney)—all to return. Though Renée Rapp is no longer part of the cast, the show welcomed new cast members Gracie Lawrence (Kacey) and Mia Rodgers (Taylor), who could also return.
We also got to see more of Christopher Meyer (Canan), Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (Lila), and Renika Williams (Willow). Max has yet to announce new additions—but watch this space.
