Zac Efron Shares Adorable Photos of Him and His Little Sister

Actor Zac Efron celebrated his half-sister Olivia’s third birthday this week, which happens to fall on Christmas Day. He shared some adorable photos of the birthday girl sitting on his lap and giving her uncle a hug. Olivia is wearing a crocheted flower crown and a patterned shirt, and she smiles up at her big bro adoringly.

Efron is looking ruggedly handsome as usual, and rocking a mustache and teal button up shirt. He smiles at Olivia in one pic, and embraces her in the other, kissing her head.

“Happy bday lil sis,” he captioned the rare family pics. In the comments his brother Dylan Efron commented, “I think we spoiled her.”

He also shared cute pics of Olivia almost a month ago in anticipation of her birthday, writing, “My sister turns 3 on xmas day — any gift ideas would be greatly appreciated! Just tryin to stay her favorite brother over here.”

While Zac Efron clearly enjoys his role as an uncle, he is not ready to be a dad. The 35-year-old has grown into more adult roles since he first rose to teen dream fame, and recently played the father of actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong in the film Firestarter.

“All of a sudden, I had this daughter in front of me,” he said while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “We had a pretty heavy dad-daughter scene right off the bat, and I realized I was drastically underprepared for this part. I didn’t know what I was doing.”

He added, “I think that was a healthy dose to put me off of it for as long as necessary. ”I have a little bit more growing to do, probably. I don’t know. Not yet.”

But he did share a few cute photos with Armstrong as well after the movie wrapped, celebrating their work together.

He really plays the part perfectly.
